OFFICIAL: FC Basel sign Mohamed El-Nenny on loan

Egypt midfielder Mohamed El-Nenny signs on loan with FC Basel from Arab Contractors until the end of the season, according to Basel’s official website.

As exclusively revealed earlier this week, 20-year-old Mohamed El-Nenny has completed his loan move from Egypt’s Arab Contractors to Swiss champions FC Basel until June 30, 2013, with the option to buy in the summer for an undisclosed fee.

Egypt’s rising defensive midfielder El-Nenny impressed on trial with Basel in Spain, scoring a goal in the four matches he played in the red and blue under Basel coach Murat Yakin.

The Egyptian starlet reunites with former Arab Contractors teammate Mohamed Salah at St. Jakob-Park.
