Salah Liverpool

is set to travel to tomorrow ahead of his medical as Basel agree on £10million fee, according to KingFut.com sources.

The Reds have held numerous talks with Basel in recent weeks as they tried to agree on a fee for the 21-year-old Egyptian wonderkid Salah. Liverpool were unwilling to match Basel’s initial asking price of £18million, while Brendan Rodgers, Liverpool’s manager, was expected to bid £8million on the player this week.

Salah has attracted interest from big clubs all over Europe during this January transfer window, including the likes of Russian giants Zenit St. PetesburgTurkish giants Galatasaray, Champions League runners-up Borussia Dortmund, Wolfsburg, and Atlético Madrid in Spain.

Two days ago, Newcastle United were also reportedly considering to hijack the Salah deal from Liverpool. However, according to a KingFut.com source close to the player, the Egyptian winger is expected to have his medical on Friday as a £10million fee has been agreed between Liverpool and the Swiss champions.

Liverpool are expected to officially unveil Salah as the first Egyptian to play for the Reds of Liverpool following the completion of his medical.

    Useless buy, if true.
He will be competing for place with Sterling, Sturridge and Coutinho.
Meanwhile, we still have only four midfielders in the squad, with three playing every game, and Lucas out injured. Any ‘fans’ who support this transfer is an idiot. The money is better spent getting a midfielder.

So we should list stand still and not try and improve our squad. Outs called strength in depths. Hell be a great addition of he comes. Also one this deal is wrapped up if say Liverpool will try and get a quality DM. I’d love M’Villa but we’ll have to wait and see!

Did anyone say that? We are short of two midfielders, and you are all going gaga over a player from the Swiss League? We have three midfielders to play every game until the season ends – does that in any way make sense to you?

It’s about time this deal is put to bed. Maybe they can then concentrate on bringing in the beast (M’Villla). And let’s not stop there sort the full back position out and we should make a serious challenge. Let’s unload the dead wood that Rodgers has wasted our money on and get quality plus steel because we certainly need that. Do I think this will happen…..NO because this so called manager is way out of his depth in managing such a big club, I really rue the day he ever stepped foot in to my beloved LFC.
