Ahmed Fathi Bogy scored his first goal for Algerian side Belouizdad in the 69th minute which proved to be the winner for his side.
Lierse 1-2 Lokeren (Saturday)
Hossam Ghaly played 75 minutes in his sides 2-1 defeat at home to Lokeren. The Egyptian captain was yellow carded six minutes before being replaced by the Moroccan winger Rachid Bourabia in Lierse’s attempts to score a goal.
Hull City 0-2 Manchester City (Saturday)
10-man Manchester City managed to defeat Ahmed Elmohamdy’s Hull City. Ahmed Elmohamady started and played the full match breaking Mido’s record of minutes played in the Premier League by an Egyptian.

Egyptian midfielder Omar El-Hussieny scored two goals in his side’s 8-0 thrashing. He scored a penalty in the 45th minute as his side went into half time 4-0 up. They continued the rout in the second half scoring four more, one coming from the ex-Qanah midfielder in the 89th minute.
Racing Clube de Lens 3-0 Arles-Avignon (Monday)
Mohamed ‘Dodo’ El-Gabbas played the whole game in his side’s 3-0 defeat to Lens. Arles have the worst form in Ligue 2 having not won a game in seven matches and they are edging perilously closer to the relegation zone.
Ahli Tripoli 1-0 Al Shat (Saturday)
Ahmed Abdel-Zaher scored on his debut for Ahli Tripoli in the Libyan Premier League.
Nacional 2-4 Benfica (Monday)
Nacional took on league leaders on Monday night in a gutsy performance from the Madeira side. Ali Ghazal and Saleh Gomaa both started in defence and on the wing respectively. Nacional took the lead in the seventh minute after Benfica conceded a penalty. Ali Ghazal received a yellow card in the 14th minute and just four minutes later he was taken off after injuring his shoulder. It is believed the injury isn’t too serious and he will remain out for six to ten days. Saleh Gomaa was also booked in the 30th minute. Nacional then conceded three successive goals before Djaniny pulled one back for Nacional and a comeback seemed on. However, Garay sealed the game for the away side in the 89th minute to end the game 4-2 to Benfica. Nacional are struggling with form at the moment having not won a game in five matches.
Gil Vincente 1-2 Rio Ave (Saturday)
Ahmed Hassan ‘Koka’ started in his sides first victory in five games. Koka, who played 84 minutes, didn’t manage to get on the score sheet before being taken off with an injury.
Sporting ‘B’ 0-0 União da Madeira (Saturday)
Shikabala featured for Sporting’s second side as he continues to regain his fitness. He played 68 minutes in the 0-0 draw.
FC Basel 5-0 FC Aarau (Sunday)
Mohamed El-Nenny’s FC Basel thrashed Aarau 5-0 at St. Jakob’s Park on Sunday. El-Nenny played in midfield for the whole duration of the game as his side continued to dominate the Swiss League. They are now five points clear of second place Grasshoppers Zurich.
FC Luzern 1-0 FC Zurich (Sunday)
FC Luzern managed a huge victory over Europa League qualification rivals FC Zurich and narrowed the distance between the clubs down to one point and they are now only four points behind second place Grasshoppers Zurich. Kahraba was suspended from the game due to the number of yellow cards he had received during the season.
