Zamalek anounce squad to face El-Gouna

Zamalek coach Jaime Pacheco has named 19 players who are set to face  on December 18th in the .

Saleh Moussa went back to being not included in the squad once again. Tarek Hamed has been ruled out for one month due to a knee injury suffered in training while Ahmed El-Shenawy remains injured.

Reda El-Azab, Hamada Tolba, and Yasser Ibrahim were left-out once again due to technical reasons.

On the other hand, Khaled Kamar was selected by Pacheco after retuning from his sanction, while Burkina’s Koffi returns to the squad.

What caught many Zamalek fans eyes’ in this particular squad is the re-inclusion of Mostafa Fathy.

Full squad:

Goalkeepers: Mahmoud Gennesh, Mohamed Abou-Gabal.

Defenders: Ahmed Dweidar, Ali Gabr, Mohamed Koffi, Omar Gaber, Ahmed Samir.

Midfielders: Moruf Yusuf, Ibrahim Salah, Ahmed Tawfik, Mohamed Shaaban, Momen Zakaria, Ahmed Eid, Hazem Emam, Ayman Hefny, Mostafa Fathy.

Forwards: Ahmed Ali, Basem Morsi, Khaled Kamar.

Zamalek currently lie in second place with 28 points from 12 games, while El-Gouna are 13th with 15 points.

The match is to take place at the Air Force Defence Stadium at 19:00 CLT. The Whites are yet to lose a game this season in the league.
