Posted on April 11, 2015

head coach and ex- player Carlos Dunga revealed that he has not been surprised by ’s performances with the Viola.

Dunga, a former Brazilian international and current Seleção head coach praised Egyptian superstar Mohamed Salah in an extensive interview with Tuttosport.

The ex-Viola midfielder mentioned Salah briefly and said: “Salah’s performance was not a surprise for me. I watched him with Chelsea, he found his ideal environment in Florence.”

When asked about Fiorentina, he said: “In Coppa Italia Juventus got a clear win over Fiorentina, now I hope Fiorentina wins the Europa League. Montella plays good football.”

It’s well worth mentioning that this is not the first time Salah receives praise from international players and coaches, from former teammates Drogba, Hazard and Ba to Egyptian coaches Hossam and Ibrahim Hassan. Salah’s current teammates Mario Gomez, Milan Badelj, and Stefan Savic were also full of praise of Salah a few weeks back, following the Egyptian’s arrival from London.

Fiorentina will visit Napoli in Serie A on Sunday in a crucial match in the race for the last Champions League spot before they travel to Ukraine to face Dynamo Kiev in the Europa League quarter-final first leg on Thursday.
