Garrido and Ferreira announce Al Ahly, Zamalek squads

Zamalek vs Al Ahly

Al Ahly manager  and manager Jesualdo Ferreira have named their squads to face Assiouty Sport and Smouha respectively in the on Tuesday.

The Reds will have to do without strikers Emad Meteb, Ahmed Abdel-Zaher and Gedo, as well as left-back Hussein El-Sayed.

On the other hand, Zamalek’s squad appears to be very much complete, with Egypt U-23 left wing-back Ahmed Samir the main absentee.

Al Ahly squad:

Goalkeepers: Sherif Ekramy, Ahmed Adel.

Defenders: Sherif Abdel-Fadil, Bassem Ali, Saad Samir, Sabry Rahil, Sherif Hazem, Mohamed Hamdy.

Midfielders: Hossam Ghaly, Hossam Ashour, Abdallah El-Said, Walid Soliman, Mohamed Rizk, Karim Bambo, Mahmoud Hassan ‘Trezeguet’, Momen Zakaria.

Forwards: Saladin Said, Peter Ebimobowei.

Zamalek squad:

Goalkeepers: Ahmed El-Shennawy, Mahmoud Gennesh, Mohamed Abou-Gabal.

Defenders: Ali Gabr, Ahmed Dweidar, Hamada Tolba, Omar Gaber, Islam Gamal, Mohamed Koffi.

Midfielders: Ahmed Tawfik, Tarek Hamed, Ahmed Eid, Mohamed Shaaban, Ayman Hefny, Ibrahim Salah, Hazem Emam, Moruf Yusuf.

Forwards: Ahmed Ali, Bassem Morsi, Khaled Kamar.

The Zamalek game is at 15:00 CLT while the Reds’ game kicks-off three hours later at 18:00.

Zamalek are top of the table with 48 points, while Al Ahly sit in 3rd with 40 points.
