Al Ahly and Zamalek squads announced

The Red Devils will face Wadi Degla in a postponed match from the 21st round of the Egyptian Premier League. Mabrouk’s 20-man squad has witnessed the return of Veterans Emad Meteb and Sherif Ekramy. However, Al Ahly will be deprived of Saad Samir’s services due to hamstring muscle fatigue.

Zamalek are set to face Misr El-Maqassa in a postponed match from the 31st round of the league with the Whites’ squad seeing the return of Ahmed Eid. The young goalkeeper Omar Salah was also included in the squad for the first time ever.

Mahmoud Genesh and Mohamed Shaaban were left out of the squad due to injury, while Ahmed Samir and Ahmed Dweidar miss out due to technical reasons. Meanwhile, the teams’s top scorer Bassem Morsi continue to be out due to suspension.

Zamalek top the Egyptian Premier League with 77 points with a game in hand, meanwhile Al Ahly sit in second place with 68 points.
