manager Hector has assured that the team is not fully dependable on Roma winger , and said he doesn’t prefer to see Al Ahly’s in a foreign league at such an early stage of his career.

Salah has played a very important role in ’s first leg against Nigeria in Kaduna, scoring the Pharaohs equalising goal in injury time to keep Egypt on the top of their AFCON qualifications group, and Cuper heaped praise on the 23-year-old international.

“Salah is young and has the ability to play in world’s strongest leagues due to the experience he acquired,” Cuper told Sada El-Balad channel.

“If he wasn’t available one day? The team has a mission either he [Salah] is present or not. I can make some small modifications to the team if one player is unavailable. I don’t depend on a single player but the whole group is ready to serve the team. Salah is always ready, humble and perform all my instructions, the national team is bigger than him or any other player,”

The former Inter manager has also discussed Ramadan Sobhy, who is reportedly in the sight of several European clubs, mentioning that he is still young.

“Ramadan is a very special player but he is young and hasn’t gone past 19, he still has a lot of work to do,”

“The decision of letting Ramadan go play abroad is related to Al Ahly board and their coaching staff,” he added.
