Egypt set up friendlies against South Africa and Guinea

The Egyptian Football Association (EFA) have announced the dates for Egypt friendlies against South Africa and Guinea in preparation for the 2018 World Cup qualifiers.

EFA board member Ehab Leheita has announced on the EFA’s official website that Egypt are set to face South Africa and Guinea in two international friendlies in preparation for the 2018 World Cup qualifiers.

Leheita has assured that the first match will be on 30 August at home, while the second one will be on 6 September away from home. He said that it’s becoming close on decided that the first match will be against Guinea with South Africa being the second one.

It’s worth noting that Egypt have been drawn in the group alongside Ghana, Congo and Uganda in the 2018 World Cup qualifiers.

The friendlies are part of the preparation for the national team before facing Congo away in the opening match of the qualifiers.
