Zamalek announce squad for Egypt Cup match against Ittihad

manager Mohamed Helmy has announced the club’s 18-man squad set to face in the quarter-finals of the .

The Egypt Cup holders wish to continue their quest to reach the final and win the title for the 25th time after losing the league to arch rivals Al Ahly.

Zamalek have reached the quarter-finals after defeating Ittihad El-Shorta thanks to a Mostafa Fathi goal in the 95th minute that managed to keep the club’s Cup hopes alive.

The squad sees the return of Mohamed Salem, but Mohamed Koffi and Tarek Hamed weren’t called up as well as Mahmoud Kahraba who was loaned to Ittihad Jeddah.
