Saudi Arabia’s Al-Fateh Club appoints Egyptian interim manager

Club of appoints Egyptian Yasser Abd El-Halim as the team’s interim manager.

Al-Fateh Club has announced the appointment of the Egyptian manager through a statement on the team’s official twitter account.

Yasser Abd El-Halim is set to lead Al-Fateh’s first team as an interim manager, replacing the team’s Portuguese manager Ricardo Sa Pinto who has been sacked following the team’s bad performances and results as they occupy the bottom spot of the league collecting one point from four games.

Abd El-Halim, who is Al-Fateh’s Olympic team manager, has been chosen to lead the first team due to his spectacular technical abilities and knowledge of the team.

“The club decided to appoint the Olympic team manager Yasser Abd El-Halim, due to his strong technical abilities and his knowledge of the team,” the statement read.

The Egyptian will lead the team starting from Al-Fateh’s next match against Hajer in the round of 16 of the Saudi Crown Prince Cup.
