Adel Abdelrahman: Ahmed Hamoudi an ‘essential player’

Abdelrahman led Al Batin to qualify to the Saudi Crown Prince Cup quarterfinals after defeating Al Taawoun 2-0 in the round of 16, during which Ahmed Hamoudi grabbed his first assist with his new team.

Abdelrahman stated, “I’m very happy with this significant win and qualifying to the next round after defeating a tough opponent, but thank God we had men in the field who managed to snatch the win, in a game where there will be only one winner.”

He added, “I would like to thank Al Batin’s administration for their complete support of the team, providing the team with all essential players such as Ahmed Hamoudi, who will turn out to be a very successful deal to us, as this is the first year for Al Batin the Saudi League.

“Moreover, we need play in tough matches that will provide our players with confidence,” he added.

Al Batin currently lies in the 10th place in the Saudi league table with four points. The team will face Al Raed in their upcoming clash on October 14th.
