Hany Abou Rida, Ehab Leheita and Khaled Abdel Aziz optimistic ahead of Egypt’s World Cup qualifying match against .

The Egyptian Football Association(EFA) Chairman Hany Abou Rida, EFA Board member Ehab Leheita and Minister of Youth and Sports Khaled Abdel Aziz all seem optimistic ahead of Egypt’s World Cup Qualifying clash against Congo on Sunday, confirming that Ghana’s draw at home against Uganda is a huge motive for the Egyptian National Team players who will do their best to win against Congo and top group E.

EFA chairman Abou Rida has made it clear that he is fully optimistic ahead of the match. He pointed out that he completely trusts the players to snatch the three points against Congo.

’s draw against Uganda should be a huge motive for our players; it gives us the chance to top our group in an early stage,” Abou Rida was quoted on the EFA website.

“I hope that we snatch the win and I fully believe in our players,” he concluded.

Meanwhile EFA Board member Ehab Leheita has stressed that all members of the administrative and technical staff even players are fully concentrated ahead their match against Congo.

“The team is ready for the match. The administrative and technical staff, even the players have all completely fulfilled their role and put their full effort,” Leheita was quoted on the EFA website.

“We only need millions of Egyptians’ prayers as winning the the match will be a relatively important step to fulfill our World Cup qualification dream,” he added.

The Minister of Youth and Sports Khaled Abdel Aziz emphasized through a Facebook post on his account that Ghana’s draw at home against Uganda is a huge push for Egypt’s players.

“Ghana’s goalless draw against Uganda at home is a huge motive for our players to offer their maximum effort against Congo. Best of luck, guys.”

It is worth mentioning that Egypt will start their World Cup qualifying campaign on Sunday the 9th of October, as they face Congo away from home.
