Hegazy returns as El-Badry announces Al Ahly squad to face Aswan

Al Ahly manager Hossam El-Badry has announced a 20-man squad that will face Aswan on Thursday in the fifth round of the .

After recovering from a muscle injury he had picked up against Wydad Casablanca in the CAF Champions League, defender Ahmed Hegazy returned to the Red Castle’s squad for Aswan.

On the other hand, Mohamed Hamdi Zaki, Emad Meteb and Mido Gaber were excluded from the squad. Ali Maaloul will also miss the game due to injury.

Al Ahly Squad:

Goalkeepers: Sherif Ekramy, Ahmed Adel Abdel-Moneim, Mohamed El-Shennawy.

Defenders: Sabry Rahil, Saad Samir, Mohamed Naguib, Ahmed Fathi, Ahmed Hegazy.

Midfielders: Hossam Ashour, Hossam Ghaly, Abdallah El-Said, Saleh Gomaa, Karim Nedved, Amr El-Sulaya, Momen Zakria, Akram Tawfik, Walid Soliman.

Forwards: Amr Gamal, John Antwi, Junior Ajayi.

Two players will be excluded from the squad ahead of the match, which will see the Red Devils keen to record their fifth successive league victory.
