Maaloul returns as El-Badry announces Al Ahly squad to face Ittihad

Al Ahly‘s manager Hossam El-Badry has announced the 20-man squad that is set to face Ittihad of Alexandria on Sunday in the 7th sround of the Egyptian Premier League.

Al Ahly squad witnessed the return of Mido Gaber and Tunisia’s Aly Maaloul, who missed the last two encounters due to injury, while Hossam Ashour was excluded from the squad after suffering a stomach ache.

On the other hand, El-Badry excluded Momen Zakaria, due to excess fatigue, Mohamed Nagiub and Mohamed Hamdy for technical reasons.

Al Ahly squad:

Goalkeepers: Sheirf Ekramy, Mohamed Elshennawy, Ahmed Adel Abdel Moneim.

Defenders: Ahmed Fathy, Ali Maaloul, Hussien Elsaid, Mohamed Hany, Ahmed Hegazy, Saad Samir.

Midfielders: Akram Tawfik, Amr Elsolia, Hossam Ghaly, Abdallah Elsaid, Karim Nedved, Walid Soliman, Saleh Gomaa, Mido Gaber.

Forwards: Junior Ajayi, Amro Gamal.

The Red Devils aim to stay on top of the table, while Ittihad are eyeing the three points to get closer to the summit. Al Ahly will face Ittihad at Petrosport stadium on Sunday at 20:00 CLT.
