Jakobsen's Bodø/Glimt relegated from the Norwegian Tippeligaen
’s FK  have been relegated from the Norwegian Tippeligaen after losing 2-1 against Rosenborg BK.

The Egypt-eligible midfielder started the game and played 46 minutes in FK Bodø/Glimt’s loss against champions Rosenborg BK in the final round of the Norwegian Tippeligaen.

The hosts opened the scoreline in the 34th minute through Mushaga Bakenga, before Hólmar Örn Eyjólfsson doubled their lead in the 60th minute.

In the 68th minute, Fitim Azemi pulled one back for the visitors but it was not enough as Alexander’s side couldn’t score the equaliser in the remaining minutes, to seal their relegation from the Norwegian Tippeligaen.

Alexander Jakobsen has joined FK Bodø/Glimt from Swedish side Falkenbergs FF last summer and made 12 appearances for the Norwegian side this season.
