general manager Mauro Baldissoni spoke to Premium Sport about ’s replacement during the Africa Cup of Nations in January.

The Egyptian winger, who sustained an ankle injury last Wednesday, will represent the Pharaohs in the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations next January and Baldissoni revealed that the club has no intention to replace him.

“We have reinforcements in the squad already, look at our bench today we have Totti, Iturbe and El-Shaarawy. The options are already there but in case of anything becoming available, we will naturally consider it,” Baldissoni said.

It’s worth mentioning that Salah will be sidelined for about three weeks and is set to miss Roma’s upcoming games against Astra Giurgiu, AC Milan, and Juventus.

The Giallorossi currently sit second in the league with 32 points, four points behind leaders Juventus and their next league game will be against third-placed AC Milan on December 12.
