Karim Mamdouh stays at Wadi Degla after CD Nacional move collapses

Wadi Degla winger Karim Mamdouh will remain at the side after his loan deal to has fallen through.

The 23-year-old was set to join Portuguese side CD Nacional during the winter transfer window on loan until the end of the season, but the move collapsed.

Ahmed Sayed ‘Zizo’, who joined the Portuguese side on loan from Belgian side Lierse, will now be the only Egyptian at CD Nacional after moved to Chinese Super League side Guizhou Zhicheng and Mamdouh’s move collapsed.

Mamdouh made nine appearances for Wadi Degla across all competitions this season, assisting twice. He made one international appearance with the Pharaohs, making his international debut against Libya in a friendly in Jan. 2016.

The Portuguese side are currently struggling in the Primeira Liga as they sit at the bottom of the table on 13 points from 20 games.
