coach Hossam El-Badry gave a hint regarding the team’s next transfer deals supporting the defence line by the end of the season.

Zamalek defender on loan to Smouha Ahmed Dowidar and Wadi Degla’s Mahmoud Alaa are on El-Badry’s radar for next season transfers, in addition to Misr El-Maqassa’s Ahmed Sami.

“Ahmed Dowidar is a special player, but he did not sign for Al Ahly,” said the former Al Ahly player and current coach to Sada El Balad TV channel. “Also Mahmoud Alaa is a strongly nominated to join the team to support our defence.”

He also revealed that he is currently watching Ahmed Sami but priority goes to Dowidar and Alaa. “However, I could change my mind any second. Maybe we’ll sign all three players by the end of the season,” he concluded sarcastically.

It is worth mentioning that Dowidar, who was part of the national team squad in the 2017 African Cup of Nations in Gabon, received a contract deposit from the Red Devils but did not move yet to the club.
