Rabia included as Al Ahly announce squad for Bidvest Wits clash

Al Ahly coach Hossam El-Badry decided to include defender Rami Rabia, Momen Zakaria and Ahmed Hamoudi in his 22-man squad for the team’s clash against .

The Red Castle will face Bidvest Wits in Johannesburg in the second leg of the round of 32 in the on 19 March. Ahmed Hegaz’s goal sealed a narrow win for Al Ahly in the first leg match.

El-Badry decided to include all players enrolled in the team’s African list for the away match. However, Junior Ajayi and Hossam Ghaly were excluded due to their injuries from the first leg match, in addition to Karim Nedved who is suffering from a bruised knee.

Al Ahly Squad:

Goalkeepers: Sherif Ekramy, Ahmed Adel, Mohamed El-Shennaway.

Defenders: Mohamed Naguib, Ali Maaloul, Rami Rabia, Saad Samir, Ahmed Hegazy, Ahmed Fathi, Hussein El-Sayed, Sabry Rahil, Mohamed Hany.

Midfielders: Hossam Ashour, Ahmed Hamoudi, Saleh Gomaa, Amr El-Sulaya, Momen Zakria, Walid Soliman, Abdallah El-Said.
