Salah Soliman ruled out of Benin friendly

ENPPI and midfielder  has been ruled out of Monday’s local national team friendly with Benin due to injury.

Soliman has picked up an injury during the last training session on Sunday and therefore will miss the meeting with Benin in the preparations for CHAN 2018 qualifiers.

The 27-year-old will be the sixth player to miss the Benin friendly after trio Karim Nedved, Islam Mohareb and Ragab Bakar suffered injuries, and were replaced with El-Gaish’s Islam Gamal and Hossam Arafat from Wadi Degla

Moreover, Zamalek’s Aboul-Fetouh, and Al Masry’s Mohamed Hamdi snubbed ’s call-up and decided to stay with their club.

Egypt is participating in the CHAN qualifiers for the first time and will face Morocco on August 11 in Cairo before facing them a week later in Morocco, with the winner qualifying for the final tournament‎ in Kenya.
