manager Hector Cuper said he was left impressed by the performance of the new players who featured in ’s 3-0 win against Togo.

Egypt managed to overcome Togo in an international friendly at Borg El Arab stadium, thanks to goals coming from , Mohamed and Ahmed El-Sheikh, in a match that saw the inclusion of several new faces.

“It was a good game. We were keen on trying some new players with the veterans of the squad and I am very satisfied about the game,” Cuper said in the press conference after the match.

“Players like Sam Morsy, Alexander Jakobsen and Ahmed El-Sheikh did well especially that they didn’t feature for a long period. To choose the perfect lineup and deliver the best performance is a very difficult thing considering that four new players started the game.”

“I was very satisfied with Amro Tarek’s performance during the minutes he featured in. El-Sheikh had a fine game, we are monitoring his development in the league and he has to stay on the same level to remain with the national team,” Cuper concluded.
