Al Ahly women team managed to qualify to the 2017 Women African Club Championship after defeating AS Marsa 3-0.

The team coach and former volleyball player, Hamdy El-Safy, led Al Ahly to thrash AS Marsa on Monday and secured a spot in the quarter-finals of the tournament that takes place in Carthage, Tunisia.
