Zamalek’s chairman, Mortada Mansour, is determined to report the Egyptian Football Federation to the Attorney General over claims of a stolen official seal.

lMansour has requested to postpone Zamalek’s upcoming match against Misr El-Maqassa, with the approval of the Fayoumi club. However, the league board has not changed the match time in its official schedule, confirming that the game will be played in its original date.

Moreover, the Egyptian Football Federation sent an official letter to Mansour stating that the match will no be postponed; yet, Mansour claimed that this letter was stamped by a ‘fake’ and ‘stolen’ seal and he will report that to the Egyptian Attorney General.

The White Knights’ official website issued a statement claiming that Zamalek did not originally want to postpone the game, instead it was Amer Hussien, the league board president, who wanted so and postponed the game.

The statement emphasized that the security forces were unaltered with the postponed game, stating, “There was a conversation between Mansour and the security officials who confirmed that they did not want to postpone the game.”

Moreover, Mansour stated, “I am sending a warning message to the EFA’s board members, Ahmed Megahed and Magdy Abdel Ghany, who stole the official seal. EFA’s executive officer, Tharwat Sweilam confirmed to me in a recored phone call that the official seal was stolen. I will not sign any official letters again and I will not play tomorrow’s match.”

He added, “I agreed with Maqassa’s president, Mohamed Abdel Salam, that we will not play tomorrow’s game, and sent an official letter to the EFA informing them of our decision. The EFA should be ashamed of their actions and should be dissolved.”
