Al Ahly head coach Hossam El Badry announced his 21-man squad for Tanta encounter in the 25th round of the .

El Badry made a mandatory change to the squad as he included team captain Hossam Ghaly instead of suspended Amr El-Sulaya. He also excluded veteran striker Emad Meteb, Momen Zakaria, Amr Barakat, Ahmed Hegazi, Bassem Ali, Hussein El-Sayed and Mosaad Awad.

The Red Castle are leading the table with 64 points, seven points ahead of second-placed Misr El-Maqassa. On the other side, Tanta is in the 14th place with 24 points. El Badry’s team will be aiming to widen the gap with Misr El-Maqassa after the latter were defeated in their last match against Wadi Degla.
