Saad Samir excluded from Al Ahly squad against El-Gaish

manager Hossam El Badry announced the team’s 21-man squad for the 27th fixture against Tala’a El-Gaish on Thursday, May 4.

The suspended coach excluded veteran striker Emad Meteb, Hussein El-Sayed, Saleh Gomaa, Ahmed Hamoudi and Mosaad Awad for technical reasons. Ahmed Fathi was also excluded after feeling pain in the connective muscle.

Defender Saad Samir will not join the Red Devils as he did not participate recently in the team’s training sessions due to military service issues. On the other side, Momen Zakaria, Amr Barakat and Bassem Ali returned to the squad.

Al Ahly squad:

Goalkeepers: Sherif Ekramy, Mohamed El-Shennawy, Ahmed Adel.
Defenders: Bassem Ali, Mohamed Hany, Mohamed Naguib, Rami Rabia, Aly Maaloul, Sabry Raheel.
Midfielders: Hossam Ghaly, Amr Barakat, Akram Tawfik, Abdallah El-Said, Waleed Soliman, Ahmed Hamoudi, Mido Gaber, Karim Nedved, Momen Zakaria.
Forwards: , Souleymane Coulibaly, Junior Ajayi.

The Red Devils are on top of the table with 68 points while Tala’a El-Gaish are currently in the ninth place with 35 points.
