The Federation of Football Associations (FUFA) and Egyptian Football Federation (EFA) announce the dates for the 2018 World Cup qualifiers.

The FUFA announced that the third round clash against the Pharaohs will take place on the 31st of August in Mandela National Stadium in Kampala.

On the other hand, Egypt’s national team director, Ehab Leheta, officially stated that the fourth round against the Cranes will take place on Borg El Arab stadium, Alexandria on the 5th of  September.

Egypt currently lie on top of Group E with six points after defeating Congo and Ghana, while Uganda are in the second place with four points after a win against Congo and a tie against Ghana. The Pharaohs place high hopes on these two games as they will almost guarantee their qualification to the World Cup.
