Turkish side Sivasspor have announced the signing of Cote d’Ivoire striker Arouna Kone on a two-year contract.

The 33-year-old completed his move to Sivasspor on a free transfer after being released by Everton last month due to a knee injury setback that had kept him away from any first team action for almost 400 days.

He made only 62 appearances during his four-year spell with the Toffees, failing to pass the 10-goal mark.

The former Sevilla, PSV and Levante striker managed to score nine goals in 39 international appearances for the Ivory Coast, and was part of the squad that represented Ivory Coast at the 2006 World Cup.
