seems to be on the move again after just one season at Viborg, with his agent announcing they assessing their options for next season.

The 23 year old hasn’t hit the heights that were expected for him last season as his team got relegated from the first tier division of the Danish league.

Alexander played just 15 games last season and failed to score more than two goals while grabbing just one assist.
Viborg picked up the Danish-Egyptian midfielder Alexander Jakobsen to the club just this past winter. He showed great potential in the start of the season, but did not manage to ensure the survival of the club in Super League.

His agent said, “We are looking outside Denmark’s borders, even though there has been Danish interest. He wants to go back and we are working on it,” he added. “There was already Jakobsen coming to Viborg, also interest from China, but that’s not the way we look.”

Boavista and Vitoria Guimaraes are reportedly interested in the Egyptian midfielder says his agent, while ensuring that the player wants to be on the move again.

According to bold.dks, the player is most likely to move to Portugal. His agent confirmed that by saying: “Portuguese clubs are in play for him, and we have an idea of where to send him”.
