VIDEO: Sherif Ashraf continues scoring streak with late winner for FC Biel-Bienne

netted a 90th-minute winner for FC Biel-Bienne in the Swiss Challenge League against FC Wil, his second league goal of the season.

The sides were level until Sherif Ashraf slotted home the winner a minute before full-time for Biel-Bienne, as Italian striker Morello opened the scoring after three minutes for the Swiss second division side before FC Wil forward Taipi equalised in the 28th minute.

Ashraf came on as a substitute in the 85th minute in place of Nico Slegrist and managed to find the net only four minutes after to gift Biel-Bienne a 2-1 win over Wil.

This was the 26-year-old Egypt international’s third goal in as many games having scored last week in a Swiss Cup clash with Concordia Basel and the week before against FC Wohlen. The stat is even more impressive considering he has only played a total of 48 minutes since joining Biel-Bienne.

FC Biel-Bienne have moved up into fourth place with that win taking a total of 11 points. Their next game is against league leaders FC Schaffhausen on Saturday at 4.45pm Egypt time.
