Galatasaray enter race to sign Salah – Reports
Turkish giants Galatasaray are prepared to bring 21-year-old Egyptian winger Mohamed Salah – who is valued at £7.5m – to Istanbul at the end of the season, according to Swiss website Infoticker.ch.
The former Arab Contractors winger Salah scored nine times during his debut season in Switzerland, and was named the country’s player of the year for 2013.
Salah, who already has 17 international goals to his name, has scored 10 goals so far this season – including two Champions League strikes against Mourinho’s Chelsea.
El-Gouna coach and former Bayern midfielder Rainer Zobel recently said Borussia Dortmund and Wolfsburg are also interested in Salah’s services, reports in England claim Liverpool, Spurs and Chelsea are chasing him, while according to TuttoMercatoWeb, Fiorentina, Juventus and Inter Milan all want to take him to Italy.
This comes after Salah’s recent eye catching performances in Europe as he just narrowly missed out on reaching the Champions League knockout stages with Basel, following a 2-0 defeat at Schalke.
Salah stated that he would be interested in a move abroad, but says he is currently focused with Basel and not on the bids being reported by the press.
The Egyptian winger did however name Real Madrid, Manchester United and Chelsea among his favorite clubs.
