Ivory Coast announce 23-man World Cup squad
Sabri Lamouchi named Ivory Coast’s 23-man squad for the World Cup finals in Brazil.
Despite being hit with Malaria for the second time in the past 6 years, Liverpool and former Arsenal defender Kolo Habib Touré was included in the list of players traveling to Brazil.
Meanwhile, Les Éléphants are set to be without CSKA Moscow striker Seydou Doumbia and AS Monaco’s 23-year-old forward Lacina Traoré, who is one of the tallest players in the world.

Lamouche’s men are joined by Columbia, Greece and Japan in Group C at the World Cup.
Ivory Coast take on Alberto Zaccheroni’s Japan in their first match of the group stages on the 14th of June.
