Kahraba scores again in Grasshoppers pre-season friendly

Mahmoud Abdel-Moneim ‘Kahraba’ scored his third goal in as many friendlies for Grasshoppers Club Zurich.

Grasshoppers were beaten 3-1 by second division Swiss side FC Winterthur in their third pre-season friendly, with Kahraba only playing the first half as the manager choose to rotate the entire team at half-time.

Kahraba, who was one of the only players to start pre-season training early, was on form scoring his side’s only goal of the game after latching onto a pass from Vero Salatic.

The 20-year-old forward had numerous chances to score but was denied by the heroics of goalkeeper Matthias Minder.

Kahraba had joined the Swiss League runner-ups on loan from ENPPI for a fee of €100,000 and had scored two goals and an assist for Grasshoppers in the last two friendlies.
