George Leekens recalls Msakni in Tunisia’s 25-man selection

has named a 25-man squad for the 2015 AFCON qualifier matches against Botswana and Egypt in September.

The third powerhouse of Group G named a largely familiar squad in the same fashion as Senegal and Egypt.

George Leekens has recalled the midfield trio of Msakni, Khazri and Chikhaoui, whilst giving on form CS Sfaxien midfielder Ali Moncer a first time call-up.

Tunisia will face Botswana on the 5th of September before meeting Egypt on the 10th of the same month.

Full Tunisia Squad:

Goalkeepers: Moez Ben Cherifia (Esperance Tunis), Farouk Ben Mustapha (Club Africain), Aymen Mathlouthi (Etoile Sahel).

Defenders: Aymen Abdenour (Monaco, France), Bilel Mohsni (Rangers, Scotland), Syam Ben Youssef (Astra Giurgiu, Romania), Rami Bedoui (Etoile Sahel), Mahmoud Ben Salah (CS Sfaxien), Ali Maaloul (CS Sfaxien), Hamza Mathlouthi (CA Bizetin), Yassine Mikari (Club Africain).

Midfielders: Yassine Chikhaoui (FC Zurich, Switzerland), Wahbi Khazri (Bordeaux, France), Youssef Msakni (Lekhwiya, Qatar), Ali Moncer (CS Sfaxien), Stephane Nater (Club Africain), Hocine Ragued (Esperance Tunis), Ferjani Sassi (CS Sfaxien), Nidhal Saied (Etoile Sahel).
