Official: Mohamed Ibrahim joins Portuguese side CS Marítimo from Zamalek

Mohamed IbrahimEgypt international playmaker has completed his transfer to Portuguese side CS from Zamalek.

As reported on last week, Zamalek accepted an offer from CS Marítimo for Mohamed Ibrahim, reportedly worth400,000, after rejecting their initial offer.

The 22-year-old playmaker has now officially joined Marítimo, as announced on the club’s official Facebook page, signing a four-year contract with the Portuguese side.

Zamalek, who have signed 17 players this summer, confirmed Ibrahim’s departure on Monday morning.

The Egypt international’s trip to Portugal was initially delayed due to the paperwork to obtain his visa, which did not allow him to travel until Sunday.

Ibrahim played 79 matches with Zamalek since he made his debut under Hossam Hassan in the 2009/2010 season, scoring 13 goals and providing 18 assists – 10 goals and 12 assists in the Egyptian Premier League, in addition to 3 goals and 6 assists in the Champions League, as per

Mohamed Ibrahim is now the 11th Egyptian player at a top flight club in Portugal.

UPDATE: Ibrahim will wear the number 98 shirt with CS Marítimo.

    The best decision that is that is you have left Egypt. Allah swt will reward you like he did it with me. Never come back to Egypt and you will be successful.
