Southampton terminate loan of Algeria’s Taïder, Sassuolo swoop
Southampton FC’s official website released a statement on Monday afternoon confirming Saphir Taïder’s return to Inter Milan, and the Italians confirmed his subsequent loan to Sassuolo.
The Algeria World Cup star joined the Premier League outfit in a loan move from Inter Milan that involved Dani Osvaldo going in the opposite direction.
However, after less than four weeks at St Mary’s, Taïder will return to the Nerazzurri after the Saints’ management claimed a lack of commitment on the player’s part.

Earlier this week, there were reports that the Algerian would be heading to Sassuolo as soon as he returned to Inter, and the move has indeed gone through.

The 22-year old joins the 2012/13 Serie B champions, who will contest just their second-ever top flight campaign after they finished in 17th place last season.
Taïder is included in the Algeria squad selected by Christian Gourcuff for the first two group games of the Desert Foxes’ AFCON 2015 qualifying campaign.
