AFCON 2015 – Egypt vs Senegal Live Commentary
The Pharaohs travel to Dakar, Senegal to take on the 2002 AFCON runners-up in the first game of 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying Group G.
Both teams will be desperate to get off to a strong start in what promises to be a very tight group. The game will also serve as Egypt coach Shawky Gharib’s official debut, after taking the position just over nine months ago. In the four friendlies played since Gharib’s appointment, Egypt have won twice, drawn once, and lost once to 2014 World Cup quarter-finalists Chile.
That’s all for tonight. We’ll be back on Wednesday when Egypt host Tunisia. Until then, take care (and enjoy our match report).
