Zamalek announce CAF Confederation Cup squad


Zamalek have announced the 25-man squad that will participate in the early phases of the .

The Whites – who are currently top of the Egyptian Premier League table – will participate in the 2015 CAF Confederation Cup after finishing third in the Egyptian Premier League.

Mo’men Zakaria was excluded from the squad after signing for arch-rivals Al Ahly, whilst Yasser Ibrahim, Mohamed Abdel-Megid, and Reda El-Azab were all excluded.

Goalkeepers: Ahmed El-Shennawy, Mohamed Abou-Gabal, Mahmoud Abdel-Rehim ‘Gennesh’.

Defenders: Ahmed Samir, Saleh Moussa, Ahmed Dewidar, Aly Gabr, Islam Gamal, Mohamed Koffie, Omar Gaber, Hazem Emam, Hamada Tolba.

Midfielders: Ahmed Tawfik, Ibrahim Salah, Moruf Youssef, Tarek Hamed, Mostafa Fathy, Mohamed Shaaban, Ahmed Eid, Ayman Hefny.

Forwards: Bassem Morsi, Abdoulaye Cisse, Khaled Kamar, Youssef Ibrahim ‘Obama’.
