Ricardo resigns as Ismaily manager


Ismaily coach Ricardo Ferreira submitted his resignation on Thursday, after the team’s   1-1 draw against Al Masry.

The Yellow Dragons‘ president, Mohamed Abo El-Soud and the rest of the board accepted Ricardo’s resignation.

Ismaily general coach Ashraf Khedr will be in charge of the team until a new manager is appointed.

His first match as the team’s coach will be against Misr El-Maqassa in the 21st round of the Egyptian Premier League.

This is not the first time Ricardo has left El Daraweesh, as he was the team’s coach from 2008 till 2010.

Ismaily are currently in 6th place in the Egyptian Premier League table, four points behind fourth-placed Wadi Degla, who occupy the final African football qualification spot.

In addition to being a hardcore football fan, Abdelrahman is a communications enthusiast who works in marketing, advertising, content creation and PR.
