Drogba, Hazard, Ba & more: Internet reacts to Salah’s brace



Mohamed Salah scored a brace against Juventus on Thursday night which prompted plenty of football stars to praise the Egyptian international on social media.

An impressed Didier Drogba compared his former teammate’s speed to a V12 – a V engine with 12 cylinders – after the Egyptian international sprinted 60 yards before scoring the first of the night.

Seconds after Salah completed his brace, Drogba tweeted: “He’s on fire,” showing how impressed he was by the 22-year-old’s performance.

Belgium and Chelsea star Eden Hazard used the same words as Didier as Salah scored his 6th goal in 7 games for the Viola.

Another former teammate, Demba Ba, showed Salah some more love in the tweet below.

As for the Egyptian footballers, Al Ahly legend Mohamed Abou-Treika tweeted: “Game over. Congratulations Salah. Continue.”

Egypt and Umm Salal right back Ahmed Fathi wished Mohamed Salah more goals and victories, and expressed how proud he is of Fiorentina star’s achievements thus far, calling him “the pride of Egyptian football”.

Mohamed El-Nenny, who also reached the final round of his corresponding cup final, congratulated his long-time friend on his performance and goals.

Hull City’s dynamo Ahmed Elmohamady kept it short as he tweeted: “Well done bro.”

The Champions League’s official twitter account launched a new hashtag, #NewHero, for their followers to tell them if any other players, like Salah, made a great start with his new club.

As for the gamers, you were not left out of the excitement. EA Sports released a limited edition MOTM Mohamed Salah card for just 24 hours which could be a great addition to your Fifa Ultimate Team squad.

As for Instagram, Senegalese striker Khouma Babacar posted a picture of Salah doing a ‘Sajda’ as he celebrated his first goal with the caption, “good game imam.” An imam in Islam is a person who leads the prayer.

Home to almost 6.5 million football fans from around the globe, Sky Sport’s official Facebook page changed their cover photo to one of Mohamed Salah and Mario Gomez.

      Didn’t you say, salah is a looser and can’t play football? Are you sure you have a idea of football djh?
