Zamalek coach Jesualdo Ferreira has announced the 18-man squad to face Ittihad El-Shorta  in the next round of the Egyptian Premier League on the 28th of May.

The Portuguese coach made no alterations to last round’s squad that collected all three points against Assiouty.

Abdoulaye Cisse, Youssef Obama, Saleh Moussa, Ahmed Dweidar and Mohamed Shaaban continue missing due to technical reasons.

Zamalek squad:

Goalkeepers: Ahmed El-Shennawy, Mohamed Abou-Gabal.

Defenders: Mohammed Koffi, Ali Gabr, Hamada Tolba, Ahmed Samir, Islam Gamal, , Omar Gaber.

Midfielders: , Ibrahim Salah, Moruf Youssef, Ahmed Eid Abdel-Malek,  Tarek Hamed, Mostafa Fathy, Ahmed Tawfik.

Forwards: Ahmed Ali, Bassem Morsi, Khaled Kamar

The Premier league leaders will strive to win the three points against Ittihad El-Shorta who currently lie mid table occupying the ninth spot with 43 points from 31 games. The Whites will try to maintain the current points difference with ENPPI (2nd) and Al Ahly (3rd).

Zamalek need seven wins out of 11 games remaining to win the league regardless of the other teams’ results.

Mohammed Salama is a 20-year-old who fell in love with football since Egypt's AFCON final match against Ivory Coast! Strangely enough an Al Ahly and Al Masry fan locally. In addition, he's a hardcore Bayern Munich supporter.
