Al Ahly and Zamalek squads announced

Zamalek vs Al Ahly

Al Ahly and Zamalek managers and have both announced their respective squads for the upcoming games in the Egyptian Premier League.

Zamalek are set to face Petrojet in the 35th round of the Egyptian Premier League with the Whites’ squad seeing the return of Burkina Faso international Mohamed Koffi.

However, Ahmed Samir, Ahmed Ali, Abdoulaye Cisse and Mohamed Shaaban were left out of the squad due to technical reasons.

The Reds will face El-Gouna with Ahly‘s squad witnessing the return of Walid Soliman, Abdallah El-Said, Mohamed Hany and Mohamed Naguib following their suspensions in the previous match.

Egypt duo Hussein El-Sayed and Mahmoud Hassan ‘Trezeguet’ also return after recovering from injuries.

Zamalek squad:

Goalkeepers: Ahmed El-Shennawy, Mohamed Abou-Gabal.

Defenders: Ali Gabr, Ahmed Dweidar, Hamada Tolba, Omar Gaber, Islam Gamal.

Midfielders: Ahmed Tawfik, Tarek Hamed, Ahmed Eid, Mohamed Shaaban, Ayman Hefny, Ibrahim Salah, Hazem Emam, Moruf Yusuf, Mostafa Fathy.

Forwards: Bassem Morsi, Khaled Kamar, Youssed ‘Obama’.

Al Ahly Squad:

Goalkeepers: Ahmed Adel, Mosaad Awad, Abdel Kaffi Ragab.

Defenders: Mohamed Naguib,  Saad Samir, Sabry Rahil, Sherif Hazem, Mohamed Hany, Hussein El-Sayed.

Midfielders: Hossam Ashour, Mohamed Rizk, Ramadan Sobhy, , Hendrick Helmke, Walid Soliman, Abdallah El-Said, Mahmoud Hassan ‘Trezeguet’.

Forwards: Amr Gamal, Salahdin Said, Ahmed Abdel-Zaher.

Zamalek top the Egyptian Premier League with 73 points with a game in hand, meanwhile Al Ahly sit in 3rd place with 64 points.

Mohammed Salama is a 21-year-old who fell in love with football since Egypt's AFCON final match against Ivory Coast! Strangely enough an Al Ahly and Al Masry fan locally. In addition, he's a hardcore Bayern Munich supporter.
