Ferriera announces Zamalek squad to face CS Sfaxien

Zamalek CAF Confederation

Zamalek coach Jesualdo Ferreira has announced the 19-man squad to face CS Sfaxien in the CAF Confederation cup group stage match.

The Portuguese coach made some changes to his side from their previous match, a 3-0 win against Arab Contractors. The squad list sees the exclusion of Bassem Morsi and Ahmed Eid due to suspension, whilst Youssef Obama, Saleh Moussa, and Mohamed Shaaban continue to be out because of technicalities.

Meanwhile, Abdoulaye Cisse, Mahmoud Genesh and Ali Gabr all return to the squad.

Zamalek Squad:

Goalkeepers: Ahmed El-Shennawy, Mahmoud Genesh.

Defenders:  Hamada Tolba, Islam Gamal, Ahmed Samir, Mohamed Koffi, Hazem Emam, Ali Gabr, Ahmed Dweidar.

Midfielders: Ahmed Tawfik, Omar Gaber, Tarek Hamed, Ayman Hefny, Ibrahim Salah, Maaruf Youssef, Mostafa Fathy.

Forwards: Abdoulaye Cisse, Khaled Kamar, Ahmed Ali.

The Egyptian Premier League leaders are aiming to secure their first three points in the CAF Champions League group stages when they face the Tunisian giants SC Sfaxien on Saturday 27th of June.

Mohammed Salama is a 20-year-old who fell in love with football since Egypt's AFCON final match against Ivory Coast! Strangely enough an Al Ahly and Al Masry fan locally. In addition, he's a hardcore Bayern Munich supporter.
