Al Ahly and Zamalek squads announced

manager and Zamalek manager have announced their squads to face Wadi Degla and respectively for the upcoming games in the .

The Red Devils will face Wadi Degla in a postponed match from the 21st round of the Egyptian Premier League. Mabrouk’s 20-man squad has witnessed the return of Veterans Emad Meteb and Sherif Ekramy. However, Al Ahly will be deprived of Saad Samir’s services due to hamstring muscle fatigue.

Zamalek are set to face Misr El-Maqassa in a postponed match from the 31st round of the league with the Whites’ squad seeing the return of Ahmed Eid. The young goalkeeper Omar Salah was also included in the squad for the first time ever.

Mahmoud Genesh and Mohamed Shaaban were left out of the squad due to injury, while Ahmed Samir and Ahmed Dweidar miss out due to technical reasons. Meanwhile, the teams’s top scorer Bassem Morsi continue to be out due to suspension.

Al Ahly squad:

Defenders:  Sherif Abdel-Fadil, Mohamed Naguib, Bassem Ali, Sabry Rahil, Sherif Hazem, Hussein El-Sayed.

Midfielders: Hossam Ghaly, Hossam Ashour, Mohamed Rizk, Walid Soliman, Abdallah El-Said, Mahmoud Hassan ‘Trezeguet’, Momen Zakaria, Ramadan Sobhy.

Forwards: Amr Gamal, Emad Meteb, Ahmed Abdel-Zaher.

Zamalek Squad:

Goalkeepers: Ahmed El-Shennawy, Omar Salah, Mohamed Abou-Gabal.

Defenders:  Hamada Tolba, Islam Gamal, Mohamed Koffi, Hazem Emam, Ali Gabr.

Midfielders: Ahmed Tawfik, Omar Gaber, Tarek Hamed, Ayman Hefny, Ibrahim Salah, Maaruf Youssef, Mostafa Fathy, Ahmed Eid.

Forwards: Abdoulaye Cisse, Khaled Kamar, Ahmed Ali, Youssef ‘Obama’.

Zamalek top the Egyptian Premier League with 77 points with a game in hand, meanwhile Al Ahly sit in second place with 68 points.
