Egypt’s Amr Warda scored his first goal for Panetolikos FC in a 2-0 win over Asteras Tripolis in the second gameweek of the Superleague Greece.

Warda moved to the Greek team in the summer transfer window and made his first debut against Panathinaikos in the first week of the Greek league.

The 22-year-old forward netted his team’s first goal in the 34th minute from a header that went into the top right corner of the net.

Warda came off the field in the 67th minute as he was replaced by Lucas Martin Villafanez. Substitute Villafanez later doubled the lead for Panetolikos FC in the injury time to secure their first win of the season.

Panetolikos FC currently sit in the sixth place of the league table with three points from two games. They are set to face Panthrakikos on Sunday, 13th of September.
