OFFICIAL: Rami Rabia rejoins Al Ahly on five-year deal
Al Ahly have officially announced the signing of Sporting Clube de Portugal defender Rami Rabia on a five-year deal.
KingFut previously revealed that Rabia will return to his boyhood club after spending a year in Portugal.
Sporting confirmed that the Egyptian international was resold to the Red Devils for a reported fee of €750,000 (about 6.6 million EGP) plus 15% of future sale.
Having spent most of his time in Portugal playing for Sporting’s B team, the 22-year-old confirmed to KingFut earlier in the summer that he has made up his mind about leaving Sporting.
Al Ahly signed Rabia as they were looking to strengthen their defensive options after they managed to boost their offensive line by signing several players including Malick Evouna, John Antwi and Mohamed Hamdy Zaki.
