Ferreira announces Zamalek squad for Etoile clash

Zamalek CAF Confederation

Zamalek manager Jesualdo Ferreira has named a 19-man squad for Saturday’s match versus Étoile du Sahel in the return leg of the CAF Confederation Cup semi-final.

The Tunisians easily defeated their Cairo counterparts in the first leg a week ago, winning 5-1 in Sousse.

Mohamed Ibrahim will miss out due to injury while Ibrahim Salah, Ibrahim Abdel-Khalek, Ahmed Tawfik, and Mohamed Abou-Gabal were all excluded due to their involvement in the World Military Cup.

Despite picking up an injury during the first leg, Ferreira included Hamada Tolba in the squad.

The White Knights have a tough mission ahead, as they must score four unanswered goals to advance to the final.
