Koka out of Porto clash to attend father’s funeral
SC Braga manager Paul Fonseca has confirmed that in-form striker Ahmed Hassan Koka will not feature against Porto this weekend since the striker will be traveling to Egypt, following the death of his father.
Following Braga’s win over Marseille in the Europa League this past Thursday, Koka emphasized the importance of being with his family in such difficult times.
Fonseca reflected, “Hassan probably will not be in the next game. It’s his decision, we respect it and support him.”
The Egypt international will be attending his father’s funeral, which will take place in Cairo on Saturday.
