Raja Casablanca sack Ruud Krol

Ruud Krol

Raja Casablanca have announced they have relieved Dutch coach Ruud Krol of his duties as manager, hours after the team’s loss to Fath Union Sport in the Moroccan cup semi-final on Wednesday.

Raja’s announced in an official statement released by the club’s executive office the sacking of the former Zamalek coach after his failure to achieve the club’s first objective of the season, which was winning the Moroccan cup.

The Moroccan side have also announced they have appointed assistant coach Redouane Hajri as an interim manager for the team until a new manager is signed.

It’s worth mentioning that Ruud Krol previously coached the likes of Orlando Pirates, Sfaxien, Ahli Tripoli, Egypt, Tunisia and Netherlands (as assistant coach).
