Al Ahly sporting director Sayed Abdel-Hafiz dismissed the talks of receiving offers from Dutch club to sign team’s youngster Ramadan Sobhy.

Several news reports have been linking Sobhy with a move to Feyenoord, however, the Red Devils director denied these rumors.

“No truth behind the presence of any offers from Feyenoord [for Ramadan Sobhy],” Abdel-Hafiz told

“We haven’t received any official offer up till the moment and even if we got any we will jointly discuss them with the player,” he concluded.

Sobhy is a product of Al Ahly’s youth sector and got promoted to the senior squad in season 2013/2014, where he recorded 34 appearances scoring 8 goals in all competitions.

The 18-year-old is a part of Egypt olympic team squad gearing up for the U-23 African Cup of Nations, set to kick off on November 28.
